you guys, you guys. remember Ms. D? The 11th Grade Class has gone on a completely new level with her; what shall the outcome be??

Because..!

Grade 11 Report
28 / 10 / 2008

Subject: Advanced Mathematics Class Behavior (Period 1)

Dear [School] Administration,

Since the early semester, E----- D--- has shown a pattern of disrespect towards students in the 11th Grade Advanced Mathematics class. The situation has become uncontrollable, where the mathematics teacher has threaten, yelled, laughed and even in some aspects discriminated various students. Our intention was not to bring this matter to the attention of the [School] Administration, but unfortunately various other solutions have failed.

The 21st of October, a student was expelled from the mathematics class and was asked not to return again until a meeting was arranged to discuss the specific conflict. From the words of other members of the class, this student was “kicked out for teaching an alternative way.” The situation became out of control when E----- encouraged other students who believed that there would be a “better” class outside to leave, because several students did abandon the class. The student that was expelled from math class, the one writing this report, scheduled a meeting on Monday 27th which he attended, yet is still not allowed to attend class. A further meeting was arranged today, Tuesday 28th, but D--- did not attend. The student from this particular case has been a week without being allowed to enter Advanced Mathematics class and is concerned with his decayinglevel of mathematics as well as the treatment of his classmates.

Although this particular case has initiated the concern of the class to notify a higher authority, a pattern of disrespect towards students has arisen. Students have felt intimidated through several of her actions, such as laughing at Spanish students for our possible Selectividad scores, implying that certain students are mentally incapable of completing their homework correctly, etc.

Several students feel a sense of unfairness throughout the class. For instance, a student that was absent for an exam retake asked for another available day where he could complete the retake. D--- assigned another retake date for that student, and then denied assigning the new date. The student recalled this as a change in grade “from an A to a C”, while other students who were able to take the retake achieved the highest grades of the class. Another brilliant student today had a doubt on a homework question and asked D--- for help, yet she answered “well, I haven’t got the time for that now.”

Our intention was to solve this conflict personally, yet the student that could not attend class during this week felt obliged to write a report given that E----- D--- had already written a report of him and recommended that he would write one as well. However, the conflict does not only involve this student, which is why this report is in behalf of the 11th Grade class.

Despite the fact that I’m still not allowed into Advanced Mathematics class, E----- D--- has yelled at again today while I was studying for math silently outside her class. A teacher was kind enough to help me through some mathematics concepts once the yelling was over. That is the only mathematics a teacher has taught me this week. I hope this conflict is resolved as soon as possible, for there is a serious problem that requires the attention of the [School] Administration.

Sincerely,

A--- R--------

And all those who have the courage to admit this conflict by signing this paper.

I replaced the school name with [School] and censored Ms. D and the student's name (just in case). rofl, I just realized how funny D--- sounds ^^; lol.

But like, wow right? I'm not in his class but we've shared lots of stories of Ms. D with one another since the level is the same. Yes, he did get kicked out of her class and it's been a week now; forced to study by himself outside of the class ._. she's crazy, I tell you.

So he sent that last night through email and the next day, everybody signed it and he handed it in. Mr. S, the MS/HS principal promised to deal with it on Friday when the whole progress report-hassle was over (since it's the end of the first quarter today [already?!]) so we'll see what happens.

But apparently, during class today she was called in by Mr. S after class. Nobody knows what he said to her, but it sounds like something's about to happen. Oh boy, I wonder what...I have her again tomorrow and it's Thursday so she has our class but not the one with A--- in it so..?! ahh the cliffhanger..! I feel like I'm in a lame TV show lol XDDDD

I wonder if she'll finally teach us like she's supposed to?

--

so, change of subject. I got my Progress Report in and I calculated my GPA (it's easy, you just count all the grades and divide it by the number of classes you've got. A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D= 1, F = 0. Doesn't matter if you get +s or -s [or Syazwani's case, */**s :b]) and it's a 3.67 =D I'm so glad ^^ but still, I don't think my dad would appreciate that; I did get a B in English and SpanishUu

and oh my god. it's so freaking cold beyond belief today!!! DUDE!!! like!! I've grown up with Southern European weather that is very random and completely unpredictable but look, check this out: on Monday it was 22º (no, seriously. we were all wearing t-shirts). And today? . I kid you not. it was freaking unbelievably cold.

AND RAINY! TT[ ]TT It's like pouring!! without stopping!!! NOOOOO!!! ;[ ]; PLEASE DON'T RAIN ON HALLOWEEN OR BE FREEZING AT THE CONVENTION!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna go and hang up teru teru bozu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teru_teru_bozu) like crazy. They actually work; it's really weird. I've tried it once in Paris and it miraculously did improve the weather 8D and in Paris!!

I think I'll bring some to school too. Actually, you know what? I'm going to completely ambush the school tomorrow with teru teru bozu. I'm gonna start a teru teru bozu cult and get a million up so that it's sunny on Saturday *[ ]* I'M GONNA DO IT.

I have sniffles too since yesterday and I pray to my nonexistent God that I don't wake up with a cold every night I go to sleep now ;_; rawr.

UPDATE - I made some just a few minutes ago and put them up :D I didn't make a million and they're not that attractive but I'm bringing a good handful to school tomorrow (the ones my brothers made ^^;) and just tape them in random places :D rofl people are gonna think they're just ghost-decorations for Halloween and try to rip them down ¦ D oh well, their loss. <-placing blame on innocent bystanders instead...?)

So I taped them onto a piece of thick string :] guess who they are~

Teru Teru Sebastian and Ciel

Red: Would you like to have an umbrella, young master?

Blue: Yes...the rain does bring sad nostalgia. It soaks me so.

Red: yes, it does....

Teru Teru Kanda, Lavi, and Allen

Blue (left): tch. Rain.

Red: eheh, makes our hair real curly eh? XD

Blue (right) oo((I wonder if Lavi's hair only curls in the rain....))

[rofl I just realized that BlueR is looking at Red and Red is looking at BlueL while BlueL is looking away from the two xD haha, gravity/nature agrees knows the natural reaction xDDDDD]

Teru Teru Ed and Al

Left: tch. Rain. Makes me look emo and weak.

Right: Not to mention your antenna gets stuck in the umbrella all the time ¦ D

Left: .......

Photobucket

Red: Hijikatasan, please get wet and catch pneumonia and die please.

Blue: shut up, you die first.

Red: Oh no, I couldn't; I'll give such honor to you sir.

Blue: WHAT HONOR!???

[There was a folder that had my last name on it so I blackened it. sorry.]

(god I'm such a fangirl ''''¦ D)

I wanted to make a Timcanpy bozu but I forgot toUu shucks...

I put them on my shutters and I couldn't reach back far enough to fit them all in so I had to perform blind photography D: sorry for the crookedness but uh, I quite like it ^^ I hope they won't get wet ._. I know their faces won't because of the tape but still...miii, please don't rain!! You wouldn't want to ruin my cute bozu chibi army would you Mr. Weather? (wtf)

sorry that they're blurry ._.

Teru Teru Army

Teru Teru Army 2

Teru Teru Army 3

and you know what? you see how they come together in the middle? I did this from behind so I didn't know which two teru teru bozu I was putting together and when I looked lmao it was Lavi and Allen xDDDDD of all people! XDDD

tomorrow when I dispatch my personal spies at school, I'll take pictures :D can't wait!!

please don't rain ToT)/

That was some real serious matter o.o It's getting scary. Although I know that teacher is being unfair and b*tchy, I still kinda feel sad for her. It's not a nice feeling to get disliked/hated by your own students. I've told you before about my Theory of Knowledge class right? My kouhai's dislike her and hanging up her quotes everywhere at school that they felt is fun to laugh at...

Please tell us what happen afterward, I'm eager to know more =x

-laugh at the tezu bozu- And yea, it's getting real cold here too x[]x

well yeah but I don't think it that way. Especially since it turns out that she's been a substitute all this time but this year she became a teacher. So....uh, well, obviously she doesn't have the skills ^^; just that she's not letting anyone tell her that >>;

at least A--- took this professionally and in the right way which is to go to the Administration and get support in an orderly manner instead of physically protesting, you know? I'm glad (and really surprised actually) that they took this very maturely ._. your school's just...sorry ^^;

I'll be sure to keep updated. Man I hope I won't get into trouble for mentioning this either ¦ D I found out that one of my friends read my journals and I had no idea ._. made me wonder if other people read it too....

I made some 8D

Oh.. So this is her first time year being a teacher? Then she still got lot to learn then =/

Don't worry, go ahead and bash my school xD Btw, the school has nothing to do with my case. It's just the kouhai being too childish. We other survived through her class more than a year, and so did many other. And nevertheless, I head from many senpai that they liked that teacher as well. Well people got different tastes...

I don't know about whether it's her first time or not but she sure as heck acts like it ¦ D today she was nicer than usual...she didn't even say anything even though she saw one of us throw a pen to his friend on the other side of the classroom even though her number one rule is to "never lend ANYTHING to anyone because everybody must bring their own materials and I do not tolerate lending to those who are too lazy to bring their own supplies D<" o.o

that's for sure; but when there's a lot of people thinking the same things it can really change things ^^;

It sounds like as if the teacher is being bullied now D: Well of course people should bring their own stuff. That's a practice for the exam too that you just need to remember bringing everything.

There was a time when I got math exam. It taked 15 mins for me to walk to school. And I was only 5 minutes away from school until I realized that I forgot all of my math materials. Were in great panic, and hoping my bro is still at home could bring me stuff. I wasted like 2 minutes trying to call bro with cellphone. Finding out that he already left the house. I wasted some seconds wondering if I could do the exam without the stuff. But then, no I can't. I had no choice but ran home, get the stuff and ran back to school.

On exam day, you're supposed to be there 15 minutes before it starts. So when I arrived, I was only 1-2 minutes late ~o~

Ahh this situation reminds me of the one I had with my 10th grade art teacher, who absolutely everyone detested >.> Why? Because she's just plain horrible. She gives us a ton of homework, thinking that we have all the time in the world to do art, I wish. If we don't complete it she'll just go on and on about it.

If we DO complete it, and its not up to her standards, she'll just say 'pfft, that must have taken you what? five minutes?'

And its a complete slap in the face when she says 'ohh, you just ruined your art. Looks like rubbish now'. She said that to my friend, so she started crying D< You should hear her other comments, makes you wanna sock her in the face =.=

Our class complained to the teacher who was in charge of 10th grade, and he spoke to her. But it backfired and she only got angrier at us for complaining >.> urgh.

But I hope it works out for you guys :D ^^

And such cute Teru Teru Bozu :] I should try that sometime. A few days before this, we had one week of gloomy skies, no blue sky at all D: and it kept pouring and pouring, and parts of Brunei were flooded, and the stream infront of my house was rising and rising. The monsoon drains had water gushing throught it like a raging river :| scary I say.

But now its nice and sunny again ^^

And ahh, I heard about the manga Kuroshitsuji from people, and saw the characters in a magazine I bought. I think I might give it a try, and hopefully I can keep up with this one, I need to read more D.GM D: still around chapter 30 xD But I like it since its kinda..refreshing. Been reading way to much shoujo manga lately ^^;

omg, that is terrible! D< that's just student abuse!! ARGH I can't believe it backfired!! That's so bad! Especially that she caused one of her students to cry! that's outrageous!! D< jeez!!

I hope you don't have her for this year, gosh. Was she the one who had you draw bowls of fruit and all that? goodness. freak. >>; no offense.

I'm glad! ^^ Brunei's like, near the equator so it's warm all year round, right? agh, I want weather like that ¦ D I can't stand the cold...I don't mind the rain though. I just don't want it to rain for Saturday when I go to the convention!! argh!!!!!

oh yeah, Kuroshitsuji only has like 12 chapters now so you can catch up (though they are long) but it's easy to read so it should be okay :] It's strange, I don't necessarily like the setting but it's somehow likeable lol. rofl shojo, eh? I haven't read Nana in so long....I forgot what's happened so far ._.'

Yeah, it was that teacher. >.> That awful teacher who made us draw food over and over...and over again D:

But hehe SHE'S GONE AND NEVER COMING BACK 8DDDDDDD
Flew off to Dubai, so I feel sorry for the kids who get her there.

Yep, nice and warm all year round, but during December and January, if it keeps raining, of course, its gonna get a bit chilly xD But chilly as in 20 something degrees chilly, not 0 degrees chilly :D

Then let me make some Teru Teru Bozu for you here xDD Maybe it'll work? And is the convention tomorrow? If it is, have fun ^^ and TAKE PICTURES *.*

I completely forgot about Nana too xD But I found out more people in school watch it, so I squealed like a fangirl, going 'OMG you watch NANA?? *kyaaaaa* -flails arms-' |D Oh I am but a dork.

Dubai? you mean in Saudi Arabia? well, uh, random much? XD haha, good riddance XDD lol

oye, that is NOT chilly at all O_o that's perfectly normal weather! D8 oh man, if you call 20 degrees chilly I can't imagine it if you went to England ^^;

I shall! Thank you so much! -^^- -huggle- I shall go and have a blast yus! >o<)/ yay!

-imagines it- xDDDDDD hahaha!! oh man I wish I could see that :D rofl I used to like Nana so much; up until the anime ended ¦ D I tried reading the aftermath but I kinda drifted away ._. I gotta get back to it though; I kinda like it even if it's shojo and melo-dramatic ^^; rofl.

A lot of our teachers went there, higher salary wot.
But yeah, GOOD RIDDANCE :D

xD It's chilly to bruneians over here :p I've become accustomed to it, last winter I experienced was in 2006? In Canberra I think.

*hugs* go and have uber-fun kay ;)

I seriously need to read more manga, but lately I read Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, up til volume 18, courtesy of my friend Wei Wen, and its hiliarious XD

wow...higher salary, eh? rofl makes sense :b and it's a muslim country too so it's all right (I think?)

oh gosh, I hope you didn't get used to it though ^^; wouldn't be nice if you went to yeah, England for a visit and you caught a cold D: at least you're used to the heat then...you can easily go to Japan during the summer :b

it didn't rain so much in the end :D thanks for the support!! ^^

it sounds familiar...what's it about? :o

true true ^^; but the majority of our teachers are British who are have short contracts, and move on to other countries after a few years.

D; urgh, I hate colds. But yay if I can easily go to Japan during the summer xD Is it like...scorching hot?

always here o(^.~)o

it IS a shoujo manga. But a funny one xD This girl, Nakahara Sunako, who is in love with gory stuff and generally, the dark. Lives in the same house as four apparently really beautiful guys, and she can't help but have nosebleeds around them XDDD

But she's not the generic shoujo main character type [am I making sense? ^^;] I haven't watched the anime, so I don't know how it matches up to the manga. But I really do recommend the manga, :D
[info]monelisa wrote:

ah, I see. My school does that too; new teachers have two year contracts before they leave or if they can endure the expensive apartment costs here, then they stay : p

not scorching; more like wet and hot. See, it's like the most humid place on the planet and you end up getting soaked and sticky all over...urgh, it's horrible. A lot of people get summer colds by getting all sweaty then their precipitation gets too cold on their skin when they turn on the AC and they get sick ._.

thank you!! -^^- -huggle- if you want me to do anything for you, I'm always right here >w<

xDDDDD hey, it does sound familiar!! XDDD isn't it that she's not really the main character at all? I don't really remember...but I'm getting this mental image that I'm sure is real of this black-haired girl trying to be as far from a bunch of shining bright guys while holding her nose in for the blood =D is that it? I ought to check it out %3Pr

aww *glomps* hahaha, I feel fuzzy :3 XDDDD

Ohh yesss, the 'creatures of the light' XDD Thats her alright! Hahaha, she gets nosebleeds 80% of the time :p

oh yeah maybe XDD I'm really sensitive to breathing cold air at night; I've become used to sleeping with something semi-covering my nose thanks to it ^^;

rofl me too actually XDD -squeeeeeze-

I'll be sure to re-read it then =D I wonder how I knew this...I really can't remember how and when I read that scene ^^;
