so true in many ways TwT !! Tadaima!!!!
I missed my mom's cooking, I missed my big laundry-smelling house, I missed the noisy living room echoing off its News and Mario's accomplishments, I missed the Apple keyboard on the iMac, I missed my tablet, I missed my open and friendly computer room. Heck, I even missed our crappy internet that I've grown so accostumed to reluctantly accept defeat from ^^;
I guess in this entry I'm supposed to make some sort of like a Conclusion of the Summer thing but I don't feel like it ._.' I learned so much, met so many people, realized so much about the world and myself it'd be impossible to summarise it all. Sorry, future readers, you're gonna have to go back a month's worth of entries. Boy, did I write this summer ¦ D OMG I missed not having to go on to google to do the '¦', '¬', and the '~' keyboard signs especially!!!! *laughs at the harsh memories of having to waste tab space and time going onto google to get the symbols and copy pasting them*
man, not only did I experience American life in different places and all these other things but I was forced to experience the usage of different computers. I never realized this: every computer's keyboard has its own unique characteristics. Every one of them. Like, my grandmother's house uses a Spanish keyboard, my other grandmother has a Japanese one that has so many buttons you miss the backspace on the first tries, the laptop I used in San Francisco had the '~' but not the ¬..etc. They're all different, each of them with different accustomizations and such.
I wonder if all computer freaks would agree to this: there is no keyboard like your own xD lmao I sound so much like a geek hahaha XDD but come on, it's true! ...right? I mean, while you can switch international input sources on every computer, sometimes it's not the adequate number of keys or the locations are different. ya know?
but oh, what I missed the most. What I definitely missed the most was my lovely bedroom ;.; it's more than just a bedroom for me. It's a physical external copy of my freely-decorated world (if you didn't understand that then try this: it's a place of free expression on my part). That room shows what I love much more than I possibly can with words (cuz heaven knows there's a lot of things I love ^^;) and they are all in there whether as a literal representation or a symbol.
but...*chuckles* oh man, when I went into my room after not being in there for a month..I actually gasped and I started to laugh out loud xD wanna know why? Cuz damn, I'm such a fangirl ^^;;;
okay, it's bad enough that I've only realized this 4 years after I started getting into Anime/Manga through the fact that I sacrificed comfort by piering my ears (since I became especially inspired by Lavi and encouraged by manga characters' endurance to painUu), that I bought a gazillion merchandise, a good percentage of my iTouch is made up of manga/anime, I constantly daydream of it, I sometimes base my decision towards action on what fictional characters chose to do...and now, it hit me really hard that I've got like 20 posters, at least 70 manga volumes, an entire shelf dedicated to goods and another to BL, and because of all these space-invading results of extreme interest I hardly have space in my beloved bedroom any longer.
I actually stared at my cramped wall of posters and dropped my bag to the ground. lmao if that surprised me then I can't imagine what it must be like for newcomers when they see my bedroom ^^; to think that my great aunt came to stay at our house while we were all in Japan to take care of it for a while and her grandchild stayed in my room amongst all those imposing merchandise...man, I wonder what they thought? xDDD not that I care but lmao it's a freaking immobile circus in there for god's sakes! XDDD ay ay ay..
well, I'm glad to be home where I can chat with my friends online whenever I want ^^ All this blogging tried to cover up the loss for being actually able to answer every reply I get in a single day so..but now I won't have to do that anymore :D Friends and family are really two totally different things ^^ I mean, when I was in Japan I really wished one of you guys were here with me, I felt relieved when I was in camp and none of the people there were blood related nor of a large age difference, hanging out with Yvie was super cool, and when I went to Six Flags and I was waiting in line I got a little envious of the teenagers around me who were there having a blast with their friends. I really wished I had someone like that with me then ;_;
I'm definitely going to do a travel trip with my friends abroad. Remember that Asian Trip, we're gonna so do it oh yes >D Brunei, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, and possibly South Korea are under my radar as of the moment and wow that's gonna be the most impossible trip ever ^^; maybe I'll skip Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, since I don't know anybody who lives there..ah, this is where the Internet comes in >D More friends, more contacts!! <-basically using them)
rofl jk, but that would've been so cool. *starts dreaming* someday~...
And on another note, this time I really mean it: I WISH THEY HAD LOCKERS IN AIRPORTS!!! DX Don't you know how annoying it is to be carrying that heavy bag to the stores near the Airport Gates?? I wish as hell they had lockers so that you can roam freely until you board the plane. I guess there's the worry of people forgetting to retrieve their bags from the lockers or something but if that's the case, they ought to make lockers have pagers so that when the boarding time is announced, the pager goes off and the person can go back to the locker and all that.
...say, that could be a new business line. I hope someone will invent that soon >< *hope hope hope*
I left my iTouch upstairs and I've written down the other subject that I wanted to mention but that I totally forgot ._.; and I don't feel like retrieving it so I'll just conclude my entry here:
I know you guys are freaking annoyed with this list (cuz it's a waste of your bandwith since it's not something you're supposed to read anyway) but this is the final draft that I will be with so just bear with it; this will be the last time you'll ever see this list and hopefully, by the 2nd week of September perhaps they will all be crossed off (except for the last lines lol ^^;)
